The Fluke 175 True-RMS Digital Multimeter delivers accurate true-RMS AC current and voltage plus frequency, capacitance, resistance, continuity and diode measurements. It increases productivity with manual and automatic ranging, display hold, Auto Hold, and Min/Max-average recording.
All inputs on the 175 are protected to IEN61010-1 CAT IV 600 V/CAT III 1000 V. UL, CSA, TÜV listed. You can rely on the Fluke 175 for accurate, true-RMS readings through years of reliable service.

but i would like to see in model 175 display backlight. 177 and 179 models have backlight, but they are more expensive, especially in russia due to dollar/rouble course

I know it's safe and accurate, and has pretty much all the features I';; need. I'm always looking at better toys, but haven't yet found one that can replace my 175!

My only complaint is that the leads eventually get damaged with the design of the storage design. However, this is a minor issue for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lakie7 from Simple and accurate at an affordable price. For years I have always just bought a cheap meter from department stores. I've had craftsman, Harbor Freight specials but none of them last or were very accurate. When troubleshooting electrical problems it saves time and money to have the right tools. Especially when testing resistance in coils and solenoids on today's newer vehicles. When using a not so accurate cheap tool you could be chasing your tail replacing or not replacing the right components when dealing with EVAP circuits in the modern cars we drive today.
