Important Voluntary Recall Information regarding Fluke 374 FC, 375 FC, 376 FC, and 902 FC Clamp Meters

Dear Fluke Customer,

Fluke Corporation has identified a safety issue affecting certain 374 FC, 375 FC, 376 FC, and 902 FC Clamp Meters (‘Affected Products’). As a precautionary measure, Fluke has decided to voluntarily recall all of the Affected Products and provide affected customers with free repair.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you, and hope you'll understand that customer safety is our utmost priority.

The following Affected Products are being voluntarily recalled:

Where to find your product serial number

Product serial numbers appear on product box and on back of product. If serial number cannot be found, consider your clamp meter to be an Affected Product.

If you cannot locate the serial number on your clamp meter, or if the serial number is illegible, please check the back of the clamp meter to find the country of origin molded into the battery door. If it says “Assembled in Malaysia” or “Assembled in Singapore” you should consider the clamp meter an Affected Product.

Location of “country of origin” information

All related models shipped from Fluke after 1 Jan 2021 and with serial numbers not included in the table above are NOT impacted by this recall.

Description of safety issue

It has been determined that Affected Products may suffer from a manufacturing error such that a safety protection component may be rendered inoperable, which may lead to a risk of arc explosion, burns or electric shock.

For such a risk to occur, the user must apply a hazardous voltage to the terminals of an affected product while the rotary switch is not in the Volt position, which is a misuse of the product. In such a use case, the manufacturing error may mean that there is severely limited or even no protection against arc explosion, burns, or electric shock.

Fluke is therefore proceeding with a recall of all Affected Products as identified above.

Product repair

Please IMMEDIATELY STOP using your Affected Product.

Upon return of your Affected Product in accordance with the instructions below, your Affected Product will be repaired.

What you need to do now

• Middle East and Africa and Turkey: Contact the Fluke Distributor from which you bought your Affected Product in your country as listed in Appendix 1 to this letter and arrange for return of your product to their facility. The Fluke Distributor will repair your Affected Products free of charge.
• All other Countries:

1. Please register your Affected Product.
2. Include all of your contact information, including email address and shipping address.
3. Your Fluke representative will contact you within 2 business days, with instructions for the return of your Affected Product. Your repaired product will be returned to your shipping address.
