Product overview: 5502A Multi-Product Calibrator
A full-functioned calibrator that covers a wide range of common workload
The 5502A Multi-Product Calibrator replaces the 5500A and addresses common workload items like 3.5 and 4.5 digit digital multimeters and more. It comes with internal and external protection features that enable you to transport it easily and perform onsite or mobile calibration. The 5502A can also be fully automated with MET/CAL® Plus Calibration Management Software. It is the ideal calibrator for metrology professionals who need a solution for calibrating low-to-medium accuracy electrical instrumentation.
The 5502A sources direct voltage and current, alternating voltage and current with multiple waveforms and harmonics, simultaneous voltage outputs or dual voltage and current to simulate dc and ac power with phase control, resistance, capacitance, thermocouples and RTDs. The 5502A can also measure thermocouples and thermocouple simulators. Two options add the capability to calibrate oscilloscopes to either 300 MHz or 600 MHz. Additionally, with the 52120A Transconductance Amplifier and current coils, the 5502A can calibrate instruments at up to 6000 A.
