The Fluke AC285 SureGrip™ Alligator Clips do not work with the Fluke 116 leads. The AC172 would work with the test leads that come with the Fluke 116.

Rated 3 out of 5 by gsuburban from These Are Not Compatible With Fluke 115 These clips will not adapt to the included TL75 test leads with the 115 unit. These clips are only compatible with banana terminated test leads or, for example, TL224.
Sounds as if Fluke should make this change on "compatible accessories".
