Reliability and performance will not improve unless there is a culture of reliability. Category I (Reliability Advocate) training and certification ensure that people working in management, engineering, operations/production, and maintenance, at all levels, will be on-board with the philosophy of reliability improvement.
Target Students & Qualification Prerequisites
Prior experience is not required for attending the training course, but 6 months of general industrial experience is required for certification.

Intended for senior management, maintenance and operations/product management, engineers, junior reliability engineers, and condition monitoring professionals who need to understand the “big picture” of the reliability and performance improvement process.
Content (Day 1-2)
- Benefits and assessing your benefits
- Culture change
- Selling senior management
- Strategy (Plan / Mis s ion / Vision / Team / Support)
- Understanding failure
- Defect elimination (i.e.: DFR, procurement, acceptance, testing, operators, etc.)
- Asset strategy (i.e.: RTF, CBM, IB M, MA L, ACR, BOM, MOC, FMEA, RCM, PMO &RCA)
- Precision and proactive work (i.e.: lubrication, alignment, balancing &fastening)
- Condition monitoring (i.e.: CBM, VA, OA, UT, WPA, MCE, IR, etc.)
- Breaking out of reactive maintenance
- Continuous improvement (i.e.: KPIs, benchmarking &education)
Certification Examination (Day 3)
- Duration (Hours) =2
- Passing Mark =70%
Package content
- Students will receive comprehensive course material
- Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and a certificate for Asset Reliability
