Instructions to update by the USB port on the rear panel of the 6270A | |
Updating the PCM (Pressure Control Module) firmware is a separate (but similar) process to updating the main firmware. Instructions for that are after the instructions for updating the main firmware. Do not attempt to update the main controller firmware and PCM firmware at the same time because the PCM will not be updated. To update the main firmware, click on the [Get Software] button above, complete the online form or login to this website, then download the zip file by clicking the 6270A v108USB.zip link. Extract the four files to a location on your computer. This is the group of files that will be copied/uploaded to the 6270A controller to update the main firmware.
On the 6270A go to the Connect a USB cable to the back panel USB connector on the 6270A and to the computer. On the computer, drag and drop (or copy and paste) the group of downloaded files from the computer to the drive letter of the 6270A. If you are prompted to overwrite an existing file with the same name, overwrite the existing file. Wait at least 1 minute, then turn off the 6270A controller by the main power switch on the back panel. Leave it off for one minute then turn it back on. Wait for the controller to completely power up to the main screen, then go to the To update the PCM firmware, click on the [Get Software] button above, complete the online form or login to this website, then download the zip file by clicking the 6270 PCM v104 USB.zip link. Extract the three files to a location on your computer. This is the group of files that will be copied/uploaded to the 6270A controller to update the PCM firmware.
