END OF SERVICE NOTICE: 5700A and 5720A (211 KB)

To Fluke Calibration’s 5700A and 5720A Series owners:
Today Fluke is notifying you that the extended repair support period for the 5700A Series I and II and 5720A calibrators is ending June 30th, 2020, due to severe parts availability limitations. This date is well beyond the five years of extended support Fluke Calibration offers after discontinuing a product’s manufacture (End of Life). Please see the table below for the full lifecycle of the products.

Fluke will no longer provide the repair support through Fluke Calibration or its authorized service organizations. Fluke will continue to provide calibration services for these devices. In the event a device sent in for calibration requires repair service will engage you to discuss your options.
Fluke Calibration’s 5730A Multifunction Calibrator and options provide the recommended replacements for the original calibrator series models. This model has successfully replaced the long-lived 5720A and 5700A Calibrators and their model derivatives. The 5730A and 5730A/03 are functionally complete replacements for the legacy 5700A, 5720A, and their /03 wideband versions. The 5730A offers 100% backward emulation (including *IDN? model # response) for use with existing 5700A/20A systems under computer control. That, along with many other innovations, makes the 5730A an excellent choice for calibration labs looking to update and upgrade workload capabilities protecting your investment.
